I agree completely, I think fundamental research is the key.

When I first started affiliate marketing I made the mistake of not focusing on keyword research and then spent the next 6 months on an seo campaign that didn’t end well haha.

On the bright side, I did learn a lot about SEO :-)

I have seen people make the mistake of not doing this foundational research to make their business plan a success. If there is one thing I have learned from all the reading I have done is that you need to “measure twice and cut once” as any good carpenter would say.
